STATA Talk

We have a talk today conducted by (Singapore Technologies Aviation training Acedemy) STATA. went to sch at 2plus, initially helped out in the setting up and ushering of guest to the lect theatre. ha. too long nvr do these things le. miss the feeling of having responsibility although i dont have much today. if ncc have anything for me to take charge i would gladly help out. the talk started at 3 pm. and the response was overwhelming with losa crowd. it occupied 2 and half LT. i thought it was supposed to be a small event. ha. they talked about the route to being a Commercial pilot and stuffs. and the whole course would be US$18,000. omg. approximately S$25,000. poor ppl like us how to pay. and worse still the paul's meeting yesterday with STATA wasnt that smooth. that means PPL hopes are dashed? zzz. everything is getting screwed. but nvm. i will try till i succeed.

the talk ended at 1730, due to too many qn during Q&A. 1plus hr of Q&A i suppose. the LTs are filled with ppl who are damn interest in flying and the career. concerned about their future. the world is now facing a shortage a pilot. but becoming a pilot is still not easy. hmm. that shows the prestige. but i think given the aptitude. a rich guy or girl would be able to become a pilot. cause u just need to keep trying. fail? try again. pay again. they got loads of money. poor ppl only have a few chances. once gone it will nvr come back.

I longed to return. and i will try whatever means i can.
