Jetquay trip

Ha. today we "ponned" abbas tut to go to Jetquay for excursion. ha. some real experience outside from tuts. ha.

Bried intro on Jetquay. Its a terminal for commercially important person. its was exclusively for members. but now we additional 200bucks ( up to 3 pax) u can use the terminal for arrival and departure. the terminal isn't big but its well renovated with luxurious services etc. i think it will be nice for an experience. mayb next time we can try and experience this luxury. ha. some photos that we took at Jetquay.

Sunday

Wake up like 8 plus in the morning instead of usual 9 cause zeng xu wanted to play early. Soccer was cool as usual. there was an "away" team. ppl whom always come to the court even though they know there are tonnes of us there. dont know what they thinking. its "our " court. lol. played to 11 plus. when my cousin shouted and landed on the ground after suffering a kick from one of the away guy. its not a pretty sight. he was in great pain. i went home to get his I/C and went off to SGH on the ambulance. I waited outside the A&E for like 2 hrs? before the doc came out and talk to me about his situation. he has a dislocated knee and need to be observed for another 2 hours. omg. so i have to stay alone at hosp for another 2 hours. holy. i went for lunch. bought newpaper to spend time. BTW my phone DIE on the way to the Hosp. what a time. zz. my uncle pick us up.

i reach home and chiong to catch "Prom night' with Zhi Hui, Cheng Qi and Mao. ha. So long nvr see them le. and thanks to Zx and SL who bought the tix for me as i m at the hosp. Prom night wasnt really worth show. but it brought the 4 of us for a gathering. ha. after the movie, we went for dinner at Subway. Somewhere i dont really go for meals cause ZX dont eat vege. bad boy. ha. after meal was arcade. play some bball and some kiddy games and went home. hope for another meeting with them soon. ha.

Stay home fri

Initially wanted to go out to shop for some tie, leather shoes etc today. Ended up staying at home playing dota and watching tv and youtube. so wasted. my free fri. after this wil be proj chionging again. zzz.

APEC Trade Recovery Programme

today was a long and tiring day. woke up early in the morning reluctantly for APEC TRP workshop. 17 of us from AMS are going and also Mr Abbas and Mr Sumarni. it was raining when we reach orchard. so we act smart go and take another route. then in the end go wrong place and cant find Orchard hotel. typical scenario la. lol. almost all of us are drenched. partially, cause 6 share two small umbrella which Shafira and Ily brought. ha. eh. hmm. the whole day was just attending talk talk talk and talk. for the first half of the day. we were quite attentive trying to decipher and understand what the speakers were saying. multi national- thus multi accents. ha. got china accent, ang moh accent. korean jap etc. ha. we got 3 makan session in 6 hours? lol. gonna get fat after tmr. the food was nice. v full thus haven eat dinner now. lol. second half of the day, everyone was half dead. then mr sumarni told me and fai a long story and the moral of the story is a qn that either me or fai will have to ask during Q & A. must be ily sabo de. lol.

In conclusion, i would say gd exposure. and something new and worth going. mayb tmr we are gonna take some photo. ha. bye.

NP retreat party

2nd part of today's blog. met yh and zx for pool at 3. but i napped until 3. so just grab anything i think is appropriate "doll up" and go le. then in the end wore similarly like mings as he is also wearing canvas shoes, berms and button up shirt. mayb can be named as poser but whatever.

pool was ok. ha. but met SYFC alumni eg. jonathan chia at kpool. found out that chuabs has resigned. was told when i was still there that there might be a possibility that he will leave. ya. no surprising though. but too long nvr go back le. can say that i m quite busy and can also say that its busy is an excuse. ha. think its time to go for a visit to find mr hi. erm. after i get the photos we took with him. come on jo. i nvr see u online. send me the photos man.

then was waiting for the various ppl to go NP tgt. those who went are jono and gf. clement felix yh zx me steph and linda (pardon me. i dont know how to spell this is just a pronouciation?). the party didnt turn out well. various reasons. firstly, only a 4 management member to organise this event? and a mentor (lecturer) that encourages them to continue even after they lose their sponsorship and have to take risk and bet on the outcome? the mentor sucks totally. in my view. the team members did not get enough ppl to come? the rock band performance at the beginning "scare" the crowd. and make them miss the nice part at the back by zouk dj? its was quite gd actually. wrong sequence of event.

ok. firstly. thanks for all that turned up and supported. and sorry for the outcome. but shi lam suffered more, having to pay for the loss a few hundred bucks ok. thats why i say the mentor sucks. as some of them wanted to back out le. but mentor advise them to cont. zzz. wth. damn sian. hope he wont be that sad and think more positively. Thank you and sorry once again.

Post-match review

Firstly, this post is gonna be quite long i think. and sorry for the boring titles cause i aren't an interesting person either. ok. lets get started. this post will be divided into 2 portions.

i woke up quite early in the morning, cause of the friendly match. went to nyjc for the match. my friends or rather teammates reach progressively (is this the correct word?) heck la. warm up a little and the match started. first goal: the cross from the corner skip pass 2 defenders and volleyed by micheal in front of the post. 2nd : i pick up a loose ball from a poor clearance, and whack it in at the edge of the penalty box.(love that goal man) lampard style. ha. then opposing team manage to score 3 goals for the rest of the first half. omg. a header from joseph. dribbling from joseph and score. and one on one keeper and scored by joseph again. hatrick hero. wth. that ends the first half.

2nd half, our play was a little more systematic. both teams were quiet for the 2nd half except for some chances at both ends. then some players got cramp (eg, me). and some injuries from collision. before the end of the game. marc scored a spectacular goal from far ( somewhere near the half line.). it went into the top right corner of the post lobbing the keeper. fantastic goal. the match ended. mings they all wanna play penalty. i ask them then it was like no enthusiasm about it. fai and his friend went to take penalty with micheal and mark. leaving other good penalty takers out ( cause they lazy etc) lol. actually i think penalty is quite crappy la. but just to add some entertainment for them. then just go lor.

it was indeed a long penalty shoot out. with some saves and miss. etc. then i just went down to take over as keeper for fun lor. saved 2 penalties. not nice ones. and miss a vital one. and i also miss a penalty which is denied by the left post. like how john terry miss his UEFA champions league. sian. and sorry guys. and for yu lun. sorry to leave u in goal keeping for the whole match. gd play everyone. thanks for coming.

and i think a draw will be more appropriate. when u want to talk about the results of the match. i think with not much field soccer experience this is considered quite gd for us le. and considering our equipment eg. boots. etc. mayb i m sore. but i dont think its considered a victory for them. whatever.

some comments about me today. firstly for soccer. i wore the army shorts for soccer? cause i dont wanna stain my white soccer short. cause its damn difficult to wash the mud off? and i usually wear that for sports what. anything wrong with it?

then taking off shirt during half time and for penalty. eh. can i say i m used to that already? i usual play topless. and i just didnt think too much. sorry if i cause any harrassment or sore in the eyes.

Lol. we are just too bored doing proj. then they wanna do post an entry. lol. eh. today, i think my brain is dead. i cant think of anything or analyse anything during proj.

and about soccer tmr with mings etc. i got more than 11 players. which mind some will play as sub. hope they dont mind. and i m really really sorry. zzz. hope it will be a pleasant match tmr.

ZJ gave me directions to go play "computer games" so we will shiok one. I zai come for project meeting with Ily and Asy. Fai has been kicked out of the group and ZJ will join us instead. Thanks to Asy & Ily, I scored 10 out of 10 for French Culture Quiz 2. Next time don't rely on Fai anymore, he gimme 8 only. Freak ah.

I going to play a friendly soccer match with NYJCians and I am sure Ily will come support. But now she don't want to come cause I said she is a lot of things that cannot be typed in words here.

Asy and Ily are so zai cause they did a lot for the project Part One while I slacked and talked about girls with ZJ. They asked me for Coffee Bean but I bought them Pokka Peach Tea only. They are still waiting for their Pure Chocolate Ice Blend. Fai better give me discount like he said he would.

Until now we wait for Fai like wait for durian to drop from the tree. Until Christmas also he won't arrive.

today is monday, the day that most ppl doesnt look forward to. cause it marks the start of work and study. today is nth special. just normal sch. but a little "counter-strike" during abbas tut. guilty also. zzz. reach home at 7 plus. then got some motivation to train from OSIM tri. so went to run at 8plus til 9 plus. around 40mins ba.

reasons for jogging:
1. too long nvr run le. must try to maintain stamina
2. need to train up for campus relay. got more than enough guys joining for AMS team. must go 1st team lol. jk.
3. getting fat le. need to burn some fats.

Consequences of running:
1. feel better and less guilty after a little training.
2. legs aching.
3. tired. so got to slp early and soon. ha

Busy wk end

I have a v tight schedule this wkend and that explains the result for not blogging.

On Friday, first in the morning was doing last min work for mgtairc proj. our efficiency was slow resulting in fai unable to attend his friday prayers. he and zj went off at 1400h. i stay for "award for excellence ceremony" so i had to spend the whole hour of so alone before Ily comes to sch with her parents. so pathetic. zz. didnt not have lunch yet. but i hate eating alone. it will feel so.... thus i just grabbed a burger from canteen in the end. 3+ ily was here with her green formal. and 3 plus 4 inch heels. ha. luckily and sadly she nvr fall at the stage. ha. and took one photo with her upon her request when waiting to receive the cert on stage. ha.

hmm. the award presentation was so freaking long with tonnes of ppl from other courses. and after receiving the award. kinda feel pressure from myself, family etc. zzzz. after the ceremony stay around and talk to paul about interships etc. paul cant talk to my mum much cause his eng is not gd. ha. so to avoid awkward silence. we went off.

reach home, ate dinner. then i settle off for mings house. staying over for the night cause on sat morning we are going to ECP for volunteering as safety canoeist for OSIM triathlon. we played PSP and some dota. crap a little then went to slp at 12plus 1 ? ha.

On sat, which is the first day of OSIM tri, we ( me mings alvin jono clement and ben neo) went to ECP at 0630h to report. we waited for around 1 hour or so before we were briefed about the safety, route etc then we launch into the sea. first time for me and jono as safety canoeist cause mings they all ps us for the 4 or 5 times before that. basket. our job was just to ensure the swimmers dont swim too far out and also spot any one in distress or need help. anyway, its sad that i didnt manage to rescue anyone. zzz. initially, it was the 100m/200m metre swim for children and adults too. for that one, there were too many canoeist. so me and clement ( on the same kayak) was crapping and looking out for girls. oops. ha. then it was the 750m swim events. the distance was damn long la. then plus wave. the ppl are zai man. but some who cant finish. at least they tried and challenge their limit. lol.

after the events, we beach up and then went bugis for BK. which i think is quite dumb. lol. but the burger was great. ha. went home slpt. wanted to watch red cliff at 7 plus de. then in the end no tix. so zx yh and sl went to get 10plus show lor. i got to go to mings house again. thus have to miss out the fun. but nvm. will watch with other ppl. ha.

today, went to ECP then everything is the same. but today is the elites man. they swim like flyinh fish across the water. damn nice. ha. then got one guy thank us after we direct him to the right course. he make my day man. ha. he's an ang moh. ha. when can everyone in sg be like him. sg will then be a better place to live in. and i did something on the kayak. ha.

Slower tempo ahead

hmm. one more down. 7 more to. tmr gotta hand up mgtairc proj which is only like 1/3 done? gg-ed. but. let us get some rest tonight. ha. today's presentation was quite ok. today, gary wasn't as scary as WS said. mayb we learnt from them and make our preso better ba. eh. we learnt something from today's preso. and hope the next preso will be better. this is learning man. after tmr's submission, the next one wil be a few wks l8r. so. can slow down a bit lo. ha

Morning i played soccer. damn on form. 3 goals and 3 penalties. ha. but i m drained. ha. then went for "incredible hulk" aft lunch. two movies in two days? cause me and lam were working during hols. so all of us to get to catch movie. so make up now lo. ha.

after movie is mahjong. so long nvr play le. damn song. didnt have much time to play though. at first i lose like siao. only until the last few games then i win continuously. then i manage to reduce the damage done. pumpings. we dont gamble. ha. and i got tonnes of proj to do. lucky its mostly group proj. ha.

exciting sat

ha. today or rather yesterday morning planned to do proj with zj and fai at amk lib at10. got there on time. but zj just woke up. fai still at bike shop. so i stone and play solitaire while waiting. and omg. the internet connection sucks. cant connect lor. even when we did its damn slow. btw zj came at 1130? lol. fai was stil trap at the shop. we just copied paste the roles of the freight forwarder etc then call it a day le. ha. fai need not come le. ha. its ok. do on tues again lor.

then meet mings atamk at 2 plus for chs homecoming day. when we reach there. it was almost over. ha. but its ok. the purpose is to meet teachers and stuff. ha. we were at one of the ponds ( cat high got so many ponds) lol. then the OM was freeing some fighting fish into the pond. tonnes of them. all from the left over stock. gave us a few. but i wanted a blue one. so. end up catching fighting fish in the pond. ha. its fun. nvr try before. no childhood. ha. caught a blue one. ha. satisfied. slack around at staff room then went to j8 by miss chow's car. ha.

shopped for tie. the award for excellence ceremony require guys to wear a tie. so have to get one since i dont ha. took a long time to decide. but finally got one from g2000. felt mature and adult. hhahah. sat at macs to crap a bit with mings then went home le.

i got the time to eat dinner at home then went off to kpool le. ha. damn off form. or too long nvr play le. only manage to win a match. omg. noob. went to catch "the stranger". horror movie with some saddist and siao ppl planning to kill a couple. they were mentally tortured man. wth. i was too. the show was 1 and 1/2 hr. the first 1/4 of the show was intro and stuffs. then all the scaring came continuously throughout the rest of the show. non stop w/o rest. lol. exciting sia.

after that was supper. i ate laksa. favourite. damn shiok. then home to slp.

Finally

ha. have been chionging ATC proj since 12 midnight. ha. slpt at 6 then woke at 11 plus to chiong again. until 3plus then went to sch. ha. i m sick of this last min work by me. but i can bring myself to do it early also. zzz.

Upcoming stuffs

i m trying to do my ATC proj now. but it seems like i dont have the mood. m lazy. and is gonna push till tmr to do. omg. can i stop being like that. zzz.

oh. btw. today during APEL is some briefing by the lecturers to update us on the university stuff , internship, overseas trips etc.

Firstly, embry riddle is the uni that the ams students are gonna go to for their degree. its a 2yr course for AMS means 2 yr exemption? ha. knew it was the right choice for me all along. ok. subsidies will be only subjected to about only 80 student per yr? or intake. hmm. for us guys. we will have to compete with the 3rd intake girls for these subsidized places. zzz. hopefully can get it. anyway. long way to go. lets talk about something sooner.

secondly, the internship. ok. our lecturers are the best la. get us all the tonnes of gd internships and places. Tiger airways internship start soon as we can take part time jobs as cabin crew with training during sept hols. 12 places. but not going for it cause my mind is set for the PPL (restricted), which i hope i can pass the selection etc. return to the skies and get what i want and loved. watching the clips cyrano showed us make me miss flying so much. oh well. we will see. Another option is with the CAAS to get an air traffic controller certification. damn cool isnt it. ha. we have internships with other airlines too. in other countries. tonnes of options.

3rdly. the overseas trip by aerospace engineering to US and Germany. nice trips but ex. 3.5k +/-

then it some annual 8 X 1.7km relay. hmm. after paul's inspring speech i decided to take part. ha. no la. actually suddenly got a feeling to take part in this relay. nvm. gd trainings and bonding too. its time to engage in more activities le. hopefully other gd runners in the course will join too. squid, leonard, ws etc.

ok. i suddenly feel so energised unlike just now when i was doing projs. ha. this post is quite length. let me check the no. of words. ha. 300plus. a third of my report requirements. ha.
